Bandwidth & Overages

Dedicated servers and colocation services come with a limited amount of bandwidth each month. The total bandwidth usage is counted as the larger of the total inbound or total outbound transfer. Services which exceed their bandwidth limit will have their ports automatically shut off for the remainder of the month. Bandwidth is reset on the 1st of each month, regardless of when the service was created.

We can optionally enable bandwidth overages for a particular service, allowing the service to exceed its bandwidth limit but still remain online. Any additional bandwidth past a service's monthly allowance will be billed at $2 per TB. Please open a support ticket to learn more about bandwidth overages or if you'd like to have it enabled on your service.
